This unique route will carry you backwards to the moment of 3000 years B.C., there, where the mountain sanctuary with a thousand rock paintings appeared. They decorated the pagan temple of the Sun on their creators’ idea. In the open "gallery" there are more than 2700 paintings. Here, there are both Saks and Turkic ones, but the majority - the most enigmatic of them - was made in the epoch of developed bronze. The natural boundary Tamgaly is situated in 170 km to the North-West from Almaty and settles down in the southeastern part of the Chu-Ili mountains stretched from the south to the north, from Zailijsky AlaTau to the lake Balkhash and deserts Betpak-Dalah.
